Luerene Moore, 76, of Medon, died Monday evening, April 16, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The widow of Richard Moore, who died in 1978, she was a homemaker and had worked for a time at Tennessee Foods and Kilgore. Mrs. Moore was born September 18, 1930 in Chester County, daughter of the late Azell and Jodie Floyd Moore. She loved her cats and animals and enjoyed helping people. Mrs. Moore was a member of Shandy Baptist Church where she loved to greet people.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Jane Castleberry of Bolivar, Sharron Moore Rickman and Gaylon Harris, both of Medon; two sons, J.D. Moore of Bolivar, Paul Moore of Medon; one brother, Scottie Smith of Henderson; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Yevonne Moore.
