LUCILLE PRINCE MCKNIGHT





Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 17, 1908 the daughter of the late David Leonard and Margaret Lutrica Allison Prince.



On October 19, 1935 she was united in marriage to John Stanford McKnight, who preceded his wife in death on January 18, 1997.



Mrs. McKnight was a homemaker and worked for Brown Shoe Company for 10 years. She was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Women, Dorcas Ladies and was a Madison Presbyterial Officer. Mrs. McKnight was also a member of the Home Demonstration Club.



She departed this life on October 23, 2005 at the Hardin County Nursing Home in Savannah at the age of 97 years and 6 days.



Mrs. McKnight is survived by 3 daughters, Nancy Brown of Memphis, Tennessee, Loretta Willoughby of Savannah, Tennessee and Helen Milam of Blytheville, Arkansas.



8 grandchildren, Pamela Brown Browning, Lance Brown, Jeffrey Willoughby, Vicki W. Gingrich, Paul Willoughby, Terry W. Mashburn, Cheryl Milam Howell and Debbie Milam Howell.



15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild



One brother, Lambirth Prince of Savannah.



Mrs. McKnight was also preceded in death by one sister, Bernice Murphy and 5 brothers, Granville, Herbert, Harris, Stanford and Ernest Prince.
