Lucille King of Selmer, TN, was born on December 30, 1939 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Ross Kirk and Lillian Meeks Kirk. She was united in marriage to Preston King on June 3, 1956.
Mrs. King was a member of New Bethel Presbyterian Church She was retired from Brown Shoe Company, Factory V in Selmer. After her retirement, she enjoyed reading, jig-saw puzzles, adult coloring books, and playing with her dog, Phoebe. She was devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Ms. King departed this life on April 23, 2022 in Selmer, TN at the age of 82 years, 3 months, 24 days.
She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Crabb and husband Bobby, Donna Montgomery and husband David all of Selmer; a son Tim King and wife Tammi of Bethel Springs, TN, six grandchildren: Chris Crabb, Chad Montgomery, Tiffany King, Stacey Volner, Tara Sanders, Teesha Hicks, 19 great grandchildren: 3 sisters, Betty RIckman of Ramer, Naomi Roberts of Selmer, and Leilla Ervin of Selmer.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Mrs. King was preceded in death by a grandson, Jason Crabb, and two sisters; Ruth Kirk and Marie Lambert, and 2 brothers Fred and Carl Kirk.
