LUCILLE DAVIS ABLES
Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 17, 1920 the daughter of the late O. J. and Julia Franks Davis.
On May 25, 1943 she was united in marriage to Elmer Ables, who preceded his wife in death on September 2, 1987.
Mrs. Ables retired from Brown Shoe Company and she was a member of Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church.
She departed this life on September 15, 2005 at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah at the age of 84 years, 9 months and 29 days.
Mrs. Ables is survived by one daughter, Janice Ables Sasseen of Bartlett, Tennessee.
2 sons, Ronald Ables, Sr. of Savannah and Kenneth Ables of Selmer, Tennessee.
2 grandchildren, Ron Ables, Jr. and Brittany Ables.
One sister, Lydia Devers of Savannah.
2 brothers, Leon and Jerry Davis, both of Savannah.
Mrs. Ables was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Otis and James Davis.
