Mrs. Lucile Callahan passed away from this life Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.Mrs. Callahan was born December, 21, 1938 in Hardeman County, where she lived most of her life, to the late Rev. William Bryan and Bessie Goodman Bishop. She married Charles Edward Callahan October 1, 1973. He preceded her in death February 22, 2004. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing the piano as well as spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Porters Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Callahan is survived by three daughters, Malinda Leggett of Ocean Springs, MS, Shelly Tranum and husband Barry of Middleton, and Marion Shearon and husband Jackie of Middleton; one son, Bryan Callahan and wife Andrea of Atoka, TN; a brother, Jimmy Bishop of Brownsville; ten grandchildren, Krissie, Amber, Myra, Mandy, Brandon, Blake, Seth, Charleigh, Rebekah, and Hannah; and four great-grandchildren, Coden, Landon, Hunter and Acalan. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Joann Neely and June Dickerson; and two brothers, John Bishop and Bryan Bishop, Jr.
