Loyce Bridges

Loyce Johnson Bridgeswas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on January 7, 1916 the daughter of the late Lilburn H. and Lydia Helen Hanna Johnson.On March 19, 1945 she was united in marriage to L.C. Bridges, who preceded her in death on December 11, 1987.Mrs. Bridges was a School Teacher for 32 years. She was the oldest member of Milledgeville Methodist Church and the Milledgeville Community. She loved her church, her friends, family, granddaughter, and her great grandchildren. She always had a smile and kind words for everyone.Mrs. Bridges departed this life on October 3, 2010 at the age of 94 years, 8 months, 26 days.Mrs. Bridges is survived by a daughter, Brenda Smith and husband David of Selmer, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Bridgett Smith Andrews and husband Chip; 2 great grandchildren, Peyton Andrews and Brittany Andrews.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bridges was preceded in death by her sister, Raye Johnson Holland.
