Services for Lourrie Pearl Keeton Moore of Waynesboro, TN will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Visitation will be Saturday, August 1, 2009 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, TN. Her body will be placed in the church at 1 pm on Sunday, August 2, 2009. Pallbearers will be Danny, Donnie, Steven, and Terry Moore, and Kerry and Paul Franks.
Mrs. Moore was born September 24, 1915 in Waynesboro, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Oscar and Chloe' Wolfe Keeton. She was united in marriage to Homer Neil Moore on April 11, 1936 and he preceded her in death on March 18, 1983.
Mrs. Moore was a retired cook at Wayne County General Hospital and was a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.
She departed this life on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 10 Months, 8 Days.
Survivors include, three sons, Neil Moore and Franklin Moore both of Waynesboro, TN and Freddy Moore of Nashville, TN; a daughter, Carolyn Franks of Waynesboro, TN; 11 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by two brothers, Malcolm and Townsend Keeton.
