Louise Seaton Beam Layton
was born on January 19, 1920 in Hardin County, Tennessee to the late Elbert and Clara Elva McDaniel Seaton.
On May 6, 1939, she was united in marriage to Clayton Beam, who preceded her in death on January 2, 1963. On June 7, 1976 she married William Layton, who also preceded her in death of August 2, 1999. Mrs. Layton retired from her job as a Nurse’s Aide at Hardin Medical Center and loved her flower garden.
She departed this life on September 22, 2006 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 86 years, 8 months and 3 days.
Mrs. Layton is survived by 4 daughters: Alice Faye Williams of Lexington, Tennessee,
Robbie Jo Parker of Ayden, North Carolina, Connie Mae Flanery of Savannah, Tennessee and Brenda Kay Calvert of New Caney, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; 2 sisters: Estelle Alexander of Savannah, Tennessee and Vera Lewis of Fulton, Mississippi and 2 brothers: William Dan Seaton of Savannah, Tennessee and Elvis Seaton of Adamsville, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by 2 sons: Oscar Beam and Kenneth Beam; 2 sisters and 4 brothers.
