Louis Donald Keeton

Louis Donald Keeton of Waynesboro, TN, formerly of Cypress Inn, TN, was born October 28, 1924 in Wayne County, TN, the son of the late Henry Howard and Cora Martin Keeton.He was united in marriage to Ira Christine Hanback on August 11, 1945 and she preceded him in death on November 24, 1980. Mr. Keeton was a retired farmer and sawmill worker and a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Iron City, Tennessee.

Mr. Keeton departed this life on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Waynesboro Health and Rehab in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 93 Years, 6 Months, 21 Days.

He is survived by daughters, Judy Keeton Davis, husband, Tim, Florence, AL, Janice Keeton Kilpatrick, husband, Jerry, Waynesboro, TN, Sabrina Keeton Hendrix, husband, Matthew, Collinwood, TN; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Keeton was preceded in death by sons, J. C., L. D. and Donald Keeton; four grandchildren; brothers, Tom, J. D., Loyal and James Keeton and sisters, Bessie Strait Todd, Ruth Hollander and Ella Mae Keeton.

Services will be Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Gerald Montgomery and Everett Rich officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Brent Davis, Blair Davis, Eric Davis, Dwight (Gator) Thompson, Jr., Lee Brewer and Dan Keeton.

Visitation will be Monday, May 21, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 10 am to service time at the funeral home.
