Louis Howard Givens

Services for Louis Howard (Snook) Givens, age 92, of the Wayne County Nursing Home, Waynesboro, TN, formerly of the Southgate community, will be Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel in Collinwood, TN with Clifton Johnston officiating. Burial will be in Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, TN, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Mr. Givens died at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN on Sunday, May 28, 2006.



A native of Florence, AL, he was a retired truck driver with Gray Concrete, was a United States Army veteran having served during WW II, and was a member of Railroad Methodist Church. Mr. Givens was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Sallie Oakley Givens and his first wife of over 52 years, Lillie Chambers Givens.
