Lou Emma Bolen

She is survived by her daughter Mary Elizabeth Bolen of Henderson; two brothers Robert M. Smith and Forrest Smith both of Memphis and two sisters Mary Evelyn King of Memphis and Ellen Gibson of Germantown.
She was born in Lexington, TN, the daughter of the late Charles Alston Sr. and Ethel Lee Hearn Smith. She grew up and went to school in Memphis. She worked at Cale Manufacturing Company in Memphis as a young lady and in 1940 married Murray Carlton Bolen. They lived in Memphis until 1979 and then moved to Henderson. Mr. Bolen passed away in 1993. Her daughter has resided with her mother for the past several years. Mrs. Bolen was a member of the Bemis Church of Christ.
