Lorine S. Harris

Lorine S. Stephens Harris was born August 26, 1917 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late William Arthur and Comer Droke Stephens.She was united in marriage to Merlin Flynn Harris on June 24, 1934. Mr. Harris preceded her in death on May 2, 1976 after 42 years of marriage.Mrs. Harris worked in food preparation for River Heights Restaurant in Crump, Tennessee. She was a member of the Fourth Street church of Christ in Selmer, Tennessee. While living in Milton, Florida, Mrs. Harris was a volunteer with the Milton Hospital. Mrs. Harris departed this life on December 3, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 90 Years, 3 Months, 7 Days.She is survived by a daughter, Anita Jean Kelly and husband Russell of Leander, TX; a son, Ralph Douglas Harris of Mesa, AZ; 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by a daughter, Nola Francis Mallard; a son, Michael Flynn Harris; two sisters, Audrey Gladys Gaddy and Lady Marie Horton; three brothers, William Howard Stephens, Paul Lenard Stephens and George Millard Stephens; and a grandchild, Faye Gynel Booker.
