Lorene Skillern

Mrs. Lorene Hollis Skillern departed this life on Friday, June 5, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro at the age of 90 Years, 6 Months, 19 Days. She was born November 17, 1918 in West Point, Tennessee the daughter of the late Julius Terry and Millie Theodocia McGee Hollis. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Skillern was preceded in death by husband; Kenneth Skillern; brothers, Turner Hollis, Noble Hollis, Troy Hollis, Coy Hollis, Ronald Hollis; sisters, Theo Martin, and two great grandchildren, Douglas Wooten and Cheyenne Skillern



Mrs. Skillern was a retired from Wayne County Board of Education at Collinwood Elementary School as a custodian.



She is survived by ; sons, Teddy Skillern and wife Frances, Kenny Skillern and wife Doris, Terry Skillern and wife Kathy all of Collinwood, TN, Jeffrey Skillern and wife Becky of Iron City, TN; daughters, Frances Wooten and husband Don of McAlister, OK, Patricia Benedict and husband Jerry of Collinwood, TN;



grandchildren, Andrew Skillern, Bart Skillern, Kenya Skillern, Aaron Benedict, Josh Benedict, Alexia Benedict, Lora Benedict, Tammy Erdmann, Brian Wooten, Hugh Wooten, Leann Wooten, Donna Wooten, Shannon Skillern, Terry Skillern Jr., Jeffrey Skillern Jr., Sarah Skillern, Anderson Skillern, Amanda Skillern, and Beau Skillern;
