Loraine (Rinner) Collier
was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on September 18, 1933 daughter of the late Arthur Odell and Jewell Fowler Morgan.
On February 22, 1954 she was united in marriage to J.D. Collier, who survives.
Mrs. Collier was employed with Hagy's Hushpuppy Factory for 27 years before retiring. She was a member of Liberty Church of Christ in Michie, Tennessee. She enjoyed gardening, sitting under the shade tree in the swing, and studying the Bible. She loved her family and playing with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Collier departed this life on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the age of 75 years, 8 months, 17 days.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Collier is survived by a daughter, Barbara Alexander and husband Dale of Stantonville, Tennessee; 2 sons, Don Collier and wife Rhonda, Anthony Collier and wife Juanita all of Selmer, Tennessee; 2 sisters, Christine Thacker and Jenny Martin both of Shiloh, Tennessee; 4 brothers, William Morgan, Wilford Morgan both of Michie, Tennessee, Joe Morgan, and Gene Morgan both of Shiloh, Tennessee; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collier was preceded in death by a brother, Wilburn Morgan; a sister, Reba Doris Morgan; 2 great-grandchildren, Joe Lee Goff and Demertia Goff.
