Lora Williams Lofton

Pinson: Lora May Anderson Williams Lofton, age 87, passed away May 16, 2009 at the Chester County Healthcare.
She was born and reared in Jamestown, RI, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Pemantle Anderson. She attended schools in Newport, RI. She was married to John C. White in 1938. Mr. White served in the U.S. Navy. He died in service in 1946. She was married to Gerald Williams in 1946 and they made their home in Pinson where Mr. Williams was a Superintendent of Forestry at Pinson Nursery. Mr. Williams died in 1977. She was later married to Elmo Lofton and he passed away in 2008. She was member of the Pinson United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald T. (Tommy) Williams, Jr. of Pinson and Stephen C. Williams of Jackson; three daughters, Lora White Murchison of Jackson, Ginger White Noe of Jackson and Mary Williams Simmons of Henderson; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
