Lonzo Morris

Lonzo (Johnny) Morriswas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on November 23, 1950 the son of the late Elmer Leon and Sallie Pauline Broadway Morris.On April 5, 1969 he was united in marriage to Peggy Hunt, who survives.Mr. Morris worked for the Highway Department as a truck driver. He loved his grandkids, making music and working in his garden.Mr. Morris departed this life on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the age of 57 years, 8 months, 24 days.In addition to his wife, Mr. Morris is survived by 2 daughters: Shanna Davis and her husband John, Angela Baker and Kevin all of Savannah, Tennessee; 3 brothers: Leon Morris of Savannah, Tennessee, Don Morris and Bill Morris both of Crump, Tennessee; 2 sisters: Nancy Zavala and Peggy Jerrolds both of Savannah, Tennessee; 4 granddaughters: Lindsay Davis, Kelli Davis, Kimberly Baker, and Natasha Baker.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers: William Morris and Vernon Morris; a granddaughter: Amber Fay Baker.
