Lonnie Junior Freeman

Lonnie Junior Freeman was born March 26, 1925 in Pocahontas, Tennessee the son of the late Lonnie Franklin and Lillian Cobb Freeman.He was united in marriage to Jewell Vonette Henderson Freeman who preceded him in death. To this union was born four children. He was later united in marriage to Jeanie Henderson Freeman who survives.Mr. Freeman was a welder for Brown and Root, which later became Haliburton, he worked for the company for 35 years. He was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer and was also an executive on the Baptist association council. Mr. Freeman was also a 32nd Degree Mason.He departed this life on December 12, 2005 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 80 Years, 8 Months, 16 Days.Other than his wife Jeanie Henderson Freeman of Ramer, Tennessee, Mr. Freeman is survived by three daughters, Sharon Eckhardt of Pearland, Texas, Kimberly Grisham of Selmer, Tennessee, Tammy Ermis of Seabrook, Texas; one son, Charles Freeman of Charlotte, North Carolina; one stepdaughter, Dawn Ward of Olive Branch, Mississippi; two stepsons, Richard James Lester of Sarasota, Florida, Mark Lester of Selmer; sister, Shirley Dotson; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of Neices and Nephews.Other than his parents and his first wife, Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by a son, Lonnie Ray Freeman.
