Lonnie (Bill) Dillon was born February 24, 1932 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late James Robert and Ora Robertson Dillon. Mr. Dillon was a retired logger, and a former boilermaker. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served his country during the Korean War, and was a member of the Boilermaker's Union.Mr. Dillon departed this life on April 12, 2007 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 1 Month, 19 Days. He is survived by two daughters: Rebecca King and Victoria White and husband Randy, all of Selmer, Tennessee; two sons: James R. Dillon and wife Lisa and Lonnie Wayne Dillon, all of Selmer, Tennessee; two sisters: Ethel Lowrance and Nova Nelson, both of Selmer, Tennessee; two brothers: Sam Dillon of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee and F. D. Dillon of Selmer, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Brandon Martin, Brenna Hill, Dillon Foote, Samantha Dillon, Allison Dillon and Jacob Dillon; and one great-grandchild, Kaleigh Martin. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dillon was also preceded in death by a son, Gary Dillon; two sisters: Nelda and Glenda Dillon; and a brother, Bobby Dillon.
