Lois (Doodlebug) Casteel Smith
was born January 6, 1965 in Conroe, Texas the daughter of Betty Jewel Johnson and the late William Franklin Casteel.
In addition to Conroe, Texas Miss Smith had also lived in Savannah, Waynesboro, and Clilfton, Tennessee. She was a food steward for CCA Correctional Facility in Clifton. Miss Smith had also worked for Sonic in Savannah, Quick Mart in Adamsville, Clifton Apparel in Clifton, H.I.S. in Saltillo, Tennessee Apparel in Waynesboro, Selmer Apparel in Selmer, R&B in Pickwick, The Botel in Pickwick, and Sweet Surrender in Savannah. She was a member of the Clifton Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a very loving sister, daughter, and mother. She loved life, Jesus and her dog Buddy. She was always dependable and never sat in judgment of anyone. She was a giving and caring to those in her life.
Miss. Smith departed this life on April 21, 2009 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 44 Years, 3 Months, 15 Days.
She is survived by a daughter, Alesha Dawn Casteel of Savannah, Tennessee; her mother, Betty Casteel of Hohenwald, Tennessee; five brothers, William Casteel of Conroe, Texas, Micheal Casteel of Conroe, Texas, Rickey Casteel of Conroe, Texas, Jimmy Casteel of Conroe, Texas, Donald Casteel of Henning, Tennessee; a sister, Judy Tidwell of Hohenwald, Tennessee.
