Lois Janette McAlpin

Lois Janette McAlpin, 70, of Bolivar, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Bolivar General Hospital.
A native of Hardeman County, she was born January 3, 1940 to the late Robert Troy McAlpin and Nancy Eldis McAlpin and lived in Memphis for 40 years before moving back here 4 years ago to live with and be cared for by her niece and husband, Phyllis and Jim Adair. Miss McAlpin was a beautician in Grand Junction for 10 years and worked at Carrier in Collierville for 35 years. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Joy Westerfield of Midwest City, OK; a brother, Billy Wade McAlpin of Elizabethton, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Oease Jackson; and four brothers, Virgil, Vernon, Wayne and Estelle McAlpin.
