Lois May Burress

Lois May Calvery Burress was born October 22, 1919 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Thomas Walker and Viola Chambers Calvery.She was united in marriage to James Burress who preceded her in death on May 8, 1996.Mrs. Burress was a homemaker and a member of the Ramer Presbyterian Church.She departed this life on February 4, 2007 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 87 Years, 3 Months, 13 Days. Mrs. Burress is survived by a nephew, Buddy Calvery of Arlington, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Jo Nell Lingo of Jackson, Missouri; and two brothers-in-law, Henry Reeder of Dallas, Texas and Lawrence Wentzville, Missouri.Other than her parents and her husband, Mrs. Burress was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Evargeline Brooks and Geraline Vanderford.
