Lois Collins Bridges

Jo Lois Collins Bridges, 76, of Nashville, TN, passed away January 20, 2022 at her home in Smyrna, Tennessee.
She was born in Saltillo, TN on February 2, 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Rosa Prater Collins, sisters, Helen Collins Alexander (Ernest), Carrie Nell Collins Pryor (Faye), Kenneth Collins (Doris), and Robert Collins (Betty Ann).
Lois was married to her husband of 60 years and survived by James E. Bridges of Sardis, TN, a daughter, Julie Bridges Jackson of Nashville, TN and a son, Joseph Bridges (Michelle). She had 5 grandchildren, Roman Jackson of Smyrna, TN, Blair Jackson Boone (Dustin) of Smyrna, TN, Josie Bridges, Joshua Bridges, and Jaida Bridges, all of Nashville, TN and 1 great-grandson, Granger Hayes Boone.
She spent the first half of her life as a wife and stay at home mom. Eventually, she went to work at JC Penney Telemarketing where she was a trainer for new employees. From there, she began working in sales with Cardinal Health in November 1993 and retired approximately October 2015.
