Lloyd Shirrel Jones

On Saturday, March 27, 2021, Lloyd Shirrel Jones, Jr., loving daddy and pawpaw, passed away at the age of 59. He was born on August 17, 1961, in Jackson, TN, and was raised in Beech Bluff, TN. After attending South Side High School, he joined the TN National Guard, and served until he was injured while overseas during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004.
When Lloyd was not active duty, he worked as a truck driver. He loved spending his free time hunting, trapping, and spending time with his favorite granddaughter. No matter the season, you could always find him outdoors.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Faye Cain, and his father, Lloyd “Shirrel” Jones, Sr.
Lloyd is survived by his daughter, Brittany Shirrel Jones-Spencer (Phillip) and granddaughter, Ella, all of Cordova, TN; siblings, David Allen Jones, Donnie Wayne Jones, Glenda Faye Jones and Jerry Howard Jones, all of Beech Bluff, TN; a niece, Angela Niccole Bowman (Terry) and great-nephew Asher, all of Lexington, TN; and a nephew, Billy of Beech Bluff, TN.
