Lloyd Sherwood “Mike†Inlow, Sr., 73, of Bolivar, died Sunday, March 25, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
The widower of Joyce Inlow, who died August 3, 1987 after 29 years of marriage, he retired as a chief Master Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force and worked for the Hickory Valley Gin Company. Mr. Inlow was born November 22, 1933 in Bolivar, son of the late Carrol Lloyd Inlow and Mildred Nuckolls Inlow. After retiring from the Air Force in 1973, he returned to Bolivar to make his home. He was a member of Bolivar First United Methodist Church, was the first Director of the Hardeman County Ambulance Authority and was county coroner for many years. Mr. Inlow loved woodworking, cooking and fishing and his family stated that he was a “loving father, grandfather and friend to manyâ€.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd Inlow, Jr. and his wife, Gina of Bolivar; son-in-law, Tim Blankenship of Jackson; two sisters, Bonnie Ennis of Jacksonville, FL and Wanda Humphries of Memphis; friend, Mary Powell of Hickory Valley; three grandchildren, Molly and Hunter Blankenship and Casey Inlow; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Joy Blankenship.
