Lisa Whitten Bryant, 51, of Hickory Valley, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Bolivar General Hospital.
Born in Memphis, she was the daughter of Jessie Whitten and Jo Ann Hoskins Johnson and was a retired pharmaceutical representative for Xpert Pharmaceuticals. On July 22, 1992, she was united in marriage to John Lynn Bryant. A Christian Pentecostal in faith, she had lived in Daytona Beach for six years and loved the beach life.
She loved going to boxing shows and, she was a USA Boxing Certified official. She enjoyed going to the river where most summer weekends were spent on the water at Pickwick. Most clearly, she loved being a mother and grandmother. She was most proud of the adults her children had become.
She leaves her husband of 30 years, John Lynn Bryant of Hickory Valley; four children, Melody and Micheal Corbin of Olive Branch, MS, Bobby and Raven Bryant of Olive Branch, Andy and Brittany Bryant of Hickory Valley and, Joe Bryant of Olive Branch; her father, Jessie Whitten of Cordova, TN; her mother, Jo Ann Johnson of Collierville; siblings, Denise Carter of Panama City Beach, FL and, Glyn Whitten, Jr. of Memphis; and four grandchildren, Gage Micheal Corbin of Olive Branch, Wrenlee Lynn Bryant of Olive Branch, Kohen Freeman of Salt Lake City, UT and, Emma Sophia Bryant of Olive Branch.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Katherine Dolan, Enlow Hoskins, Frank Whitten and Virginia Whitten.
