Linnie Mae Eaker

Linnie Mae Eaker, 91, of Madrid, IA, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Madrid Home in Madrid, IA.

Linnie was born October 20, 1933, in Steele, MO, the daughter of Onie and Henrietta (Jones) Gean. She married Leonard Eaker when he was in the military and his death came on December 8, 1998.

Linnie and Leonard made their home in Finger, TN and after Leonard’s death she moved to the Madrid Home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Jerry, infant daughter Sandra, brothers, Billy, Chuck, Larry and Donnie and sisters, Mary and Winnie.

Linnie is survived by her daughters, Gail (Stephen) Layman and Penny Eaker, eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren brothers, Bobby and Ronnie and sisters, Connie and Charlotte

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the Refuge Cemetery near Bethel Springs.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
