Linda Warren, 76, of Toone, departed this life Wednesday evening, September 25, 2019 at Bolivar General Hospital.
The widow of Thomas Warren, who died in 2012, she was a retired store clerk manager for 7-11 in Texas and a homemaker. She was born July 1, 1943, in Jackson, daughter of the late Owen Clifton King and Winnie Mae Byrum King, living in Texas since 1956 and moving back to Toone around 1996. She was a member of Hope Recovery Church in Medon and enjoyed square dancing, being known as a very good dancer, music, her work, animals and taking care of kids.
Survivors include a daughter, Tommie Kay Blevins (Mickey) of Middleton; a son, David W. Williamson (Darla) of Toone; a sister, Patricia Green of Dallas, TX; a brother, Danny Owen King of Poole, TX; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Garland Williamson. Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org/donate).
