Linda Turner

Linda Carol Smith Turner, age 74, of Collinwood, TN, departed this world on Friday, January 24, 2025. She was born in Beckley, WV, on February 16, 1950, Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Lyndon Estrada and Helen Gould Smith. She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Daniel Jimmy Turner Sr., united in love and companionship.

Linda devoted many years to her work as the HR Manager at Kmart, where her kindness and dedication left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she was member of the Stateline Church, where she contributed her time and spirit.

In the warmth of her home, Linda found joy in crocheting and losing herself in the pages of a good book. Her passions reflected her nurturing soul, always creating warmth and connection. Linda's gentle spirit and loving nature will be missed profoundly by all who had the privilege to know her.

Linda is survived by her husband, Daniel Jimmy Turner Sr. of Collinwood, TN; sons, Keith Wittman of Mt. Dora, FL, Michael Wittman of Grand Island, FL, Daniel Jimmy Turner Jr. of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL and William Turner of Collinwood, TN; brother, James Smith Sr. of Perry, FL; sister, Patsy Hill of Collinwood, TN; 15 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Lyndon and Helen Smith; and brothers, Larry Campbell and Bernard Smith.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Collinwood, TN with Greg Stults officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, TN with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.

Pallbearers will be Keith Wittman, Michael Wittman, Danny Turner, Tony Turner, Jeff Hill, Robbie Champion, Jimmy Smith Jr., and Doug Clearwater.
