Linda Polk Gallian

Linda Jane Polk Gallian passed from this life at the age of 85 years, 10 months, and 11 days, in Germantown, TN.
Ms. Gallian was born March 24, 1936 in Bolivar, TN to William "Bill" Edwin and Helen Lurline Tims Polk where she graduated high school at Bolivar Central. She lived in Evansville, IN from 1968-1978 and then moved to Jackson, TN. A hard worker, she enjoyed gardening and working in her flowers, and cooking. She loved working in sales, selling china, for many years at Goldsmiths/Macys. Ms. Gallian was a kind and gentle soul. A Baptist in belief, she was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and studied the Bible daily. She moved to Whiteville, TN in her later years to be with her mother.
Survivors include her daughter Sharen Perdue, of Germantown; son, Brad Gallian; granddaughter Sarah Perdue and grandson David Perdue, both of Germantown. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family requests that donations be made to the Salvation Army [www.salvationarmyusa.org/donate], in lieu of flowers.
