Linda Sweat Fisher was born April 30, 1952 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late J. B. and Merle Evelyn Leatherwood Sweat.
She was united in marriage to Paul Fisher on October 22, 1989.
Mrs. Fisher received her LPN certification from Crump Vocational-Technical School. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Northeast Mississippi Community College, graduating as a Registered Nurse. Mrs. Fisher also owned and operated Fannie's Florist in Selmer for 2 years, and was a faithful member of Selmer First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Fisher departed this life on January 12, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 60 Years, 8 Months, 13 Days. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Paul Fisher of Selmer, TN; three daughters: Robin Watkins and husband Dalton of Pocahontas, TN, Emily Hopkins and husband Scott of Selmer, TN, and Valerie Youngblood and husband Dan of Ramer, TN; a step-daughter, Robin Nicola and husband Nick of Jackson, TN; ten grandchildren: Dalton Watkins, Jr., Steven Watkins, Heather Crowe, Tyler Crowe, Anna Paige Youngblood, Lauren Nicola, Garrett Youngblood, Spencer Hurst, Carson Nicola, and Grant Youngblood; a great-grandchild, Hayden Crowe; a sister, Glenda Foster and husband Dewey of Ramer, TN; and many extended family and friends.
