Mrs. Linda Carol Carver departed this life Monday morning, May 6 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The wife of Mike Carver, who survives, she had formerly worked in a garment factory prior to becoming disabled in 2001. She was born January 26, 1957 in Bolivar, the daughter of Claudie Hammers of Whiteville and the late Sindy Ludell McCarver Hammers and lived all of her life in Hardeman County. She was a Southern Baptist in belief and a member of Dixie Hills Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, whom she married on April 25, 1981, and her father, survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Heather (Doug) Wagner of New Orleans, LA, Jessica (Derek) Howell of Middleton; a sister and her husband, Kathy (Paul) Hunt of Medon; two grandchildren, Peyton Howell and Catelynn Wagner; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jack Douglas Wagner in 2012 and several aunts and uncles.
