Linda Roberts Baker departed this life on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at the age of 75 years, 11 months, and 12 days. She was born in Lexington, Mississippi, on January 21, 1946, the daughter of the late Bob and Inez White Roberts. On October 3, 1973, she was united in marriage to "Billy" Roy Baker.
Linda was self-employed as the owner of a salvage grocery for 5 years in Clifton, Tennessee, worked in childcare in Clifton, Tennessee since 1989, and formerly worked at Southern Funeral Home as a secretary for 10 years in Lexington, Mississippi. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee, the Eastern Star Association, and a Charter Member in Lexington, Mississippi. Linda enjoyed her koi fish pond, nature, especially birds, and cooking. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, "Billy" Roy Baker of Clifton, Tennessee; daughters, Tammie Baker Seltzer and her husband Tom of Clifton, Tennessee and Stacy Baker Shutt and her husband Wesley of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Maurice Roberts of Biloxi, Mississippi; sisters, Deborah King and her husband Jerry of Summerville, Missouri, Janet Rogers of Columbia, Mississippi, and Jean Spring and her husband Ken of McComb, Mississippi; grandchildren, Hillary Ray and her husband Jesse, Karlie Seltzer, Grady Seltzer, and Chesney Baker; and great grandchildren, Kaydence Ray, Scarlett Ray, and Madelynn Ray.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Malcolm Roberts.
