LINA SHELBY STRICKLIN
Was born May 19, 1922 the daughter of the late William and Mattie Shelby. She was the wife of the late Roosevelt Stricklin. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Willy and Warren Shelby, her three sisters, Amy Smith, Hannah Hosea and Lila Bridges, her son James Stricklin and her grandson, Billy Wayne Stricklin. She had 5 children, William, Herbert and James Stricklin, Mattie Gammill and Pearl Wesson, all of Savannah. Lina had 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She departed this life on January 31, 2006 at the age of 83 years, 8 months and 12 days.
