Was born on October 30, 1948 in Savannah, Tennessee the daughter of Arch Richard Deshazier and the late Maggie Ward Deshazier Banks.
On January 3, 1968 she was united in marriage to Carl B. Smith, who survives.
Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a loving, devoted wife and mother.
She departed this life on February 4, 2006 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri at the age of 57 years, 3 months and 5 days.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 38 years, Carl B. Smith of Doniphan, Missouri;
2 daughters: Dottie Weis of Ballwin, Missouri and Melissa Gargac of Poplar Bluff, Missouri;
3 grandchildren: Timothy Rutledge, II, Michael Weis and Stephanie Weis;
her father, Arch Richard Deshazier of Savannah, Tennessee
3 sisters: Betty Lewis, Linda Balentine and Viola Hunt;
and 4 brothers: Odie Deshazier, David Deshazier, Billy Deshazier and Carmack Deshazier, all of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Danny, Buster, Henry and Archie L.V. Deshazier.
