Lillie Hays

LILLIE W. HAYSwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 12, 1946 the daughter of the late Charlie Hurbert and Annie Bonee White.On November 25, 1967 she was united in marriage to Lewis P. Hays, who survives.Mrs. Hays was a homemaker. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Hays was a good mother and very much loved. She was a very hard working woman and loved to garden and enjoyed fishing.Mrs. Hays departed this life on April 9, 2007 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 60 years, 5 months and 28 days.Other than her husband, Lewis of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by 3 sons, Larry Hays of Waynesboro, Tennessee, Parker Hays of Savannah, Tennessee and Leonard Hays of Savannah, Tennessee.7 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild5 sisters, Ruby Hobbs, Joyce Boroughs, Edder Stricklin, and Orene Melson, all of Savannah, Tennessee and Thelma Melson of Arkansas.2 brothers, Doc White and Willie White, both of Savannah, Tennessee.Mrs. Hays was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert, Hubert and Franklin White.
