Lillie Mae Andrews Dixon Butler was born September 26, 1923 in Wayne County, Tennessee the daughter of the late John Thomas and Minnie Myrtle Andrews. In addition to her parents, Mrs Dixon Butler was preceded in death by her first husband John William Dixon and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Butler departed this life Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Alabama at the age of 85 Years, 5 Months, 14 Days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband Arnett Butler of Waynesboro, TN; two daughters, Patricia Ann Dixon Alstead of Crossville, TN and Wanda Gail Dixon Stavropoulos of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; 6 grandchildren, Dave, Kenny, Hope, Marsha, Sabrina, and Brad;5 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jack, Charlie, Isabella, and Avatwo brothers, Lester Andrews of Lawrenceburg, TN and Porter Andrews of Macon, GA; two sisters, Willodean Atwell of St. Joseph, TN and Myrtle B. Smith of Forsythe, GA; Services will be held on March 14, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Tim Hanback officiating. Burial will follow in the Gallaher Cemetery near Waynesboro with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
