Lillian Emogene Willis

Lillian Emogene Fisher Willis was born August 8, 1927 in Walnut Grove, Tennessee the daughter of the late Ivan and Lola Higgins Fisher.She attended Lambuth College in Jackson, Tennessee and taught school for two years in the Childers Hill Community.She was united in marriage to Joe G. Willis on January 6, 1953. Mr. Willis preceded her in death on December 1, 1997, after 44 years of marriage. Mrs. Willis was a homemaker and was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church, where she was the former pianist. Mrs. Willis departed this life on January 25, 2009 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 5 Months, 17 Days. She is survived by three sisters: Louise Killingsworth and husband Thomas, Oneda Farris, and Shelby Fisher, all of Michie, TN; and a host of nieces and nephews.
