Lillian McCarver Teague

November 22, 1915 — June 17, 2008

Mrs. Teague died Tuesday night at Pine Meadows Healthcare in Bolivar.



The widow of Charlie Cecil McCarver and Joseph Brown Teague, she was a homemaker. She was born to the late Riley and Dessie Faye Pyles in Hardeman County and lived most of her life there with the exception of living in Memphis for twenty years. She was a member of the New Union Baptist Church in Toone.



Survivors for Mrs. Teague include a son, Donald E. McCarver of Bing Hampton, NY; a daughter, Barbara McCarver of Medon; three brothers, W. G. Pyles of Medon, Sherill Pyles of Texas, and Charles A. Pyles of South Carolina; six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.



In addition to her husbands and parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Jean McNall; two sons, Gerald Eugene McCarver and Walter T. McCarver; and a sister, Ruth Stevens.
