Lillian Virginia Roberts Lull
was born in Asheville, Tennessee on January 15, 1908 the daughter of the late Christopher and Mattie Virginia Lawson Roberts.
On May 4, 1934 she was united in marriage to Albert Lull, who preceded her in death on June 28, 1980.
Mrs. Lull had worked as a Registered Nurse at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee and at the Chattanooga Women's Hospital. She was a member of Brainerd Methodist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee since 1936. Mrs. Lull might be best remembered as a happy pleasant lady singing along with her son on TV.
Mrs. Lull was a lifetime member of The Eastern Star. She was a member of the Wesleyn Bible Class at Brainard Methodist Church in Chattanooga.
Mrs. Lull departed this life on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the age of 100 years, 7 months, 16 days.
Mrs. Lull is survived by a son, Dr. Charles Roberts Lull of Savannah, Tennessee; a daughter: Sara Virginia (Sally) Lull Pankau of Nashville, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren: Cynthia Pankau Carmack, Christopher Pankau, Charles (Chuck) Pankau, Larry Pankau, Jr., and John Charles Lull; 5 great-grandchildren: John Carmack, Aubrie Pankau, Ryan Pankau, Colton Pankau, Ben Pankau.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lull was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Roberts.
