L.G. Webb was born on January 28, 1950 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of the late Luther Gaston and Laura Elizabeth White Webb.
L.G. owned and operated Savannah Amoco and later worked as a truck driver for Teamsters. He was a dedicated member of the Savannah Masonic Lodge #102. L.G. loved his tractors and enjoyed working on his farm. He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters, Katlyn and Shelby, and truly enjoyed getting together for family gatherings and cook outs. L.G. was always willing to lend a helping hand to others, and enjoyed contributing to his community in which he cherished. He also enjoyed going out to eat with his friends and family, no matter where it was.
L.G. Webb departed this life on Monday, March 3, 2025, in Centre, Alabama, at the age of 75 years, 1 month, and 3 days.
He is survived by his son, Scotty Webb and his wife Amenda of Centre, Alabama; sisters, Katherine Stanford of Savannah, Tennessee, and Brenda Poore of Pall Mall, Tennessee; grandchildren, Katlyn Moore and her husband Tyler, and Shelby Webb; special companion, Nancy Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
In addition to his parents, L.G. was preceded in death by his brother, Floyd Webb and sisters, Imogene Beckham, Mildred Bowlin, Susie Armstrong, Caroline Hanna, and Linda Ruth Webb.
