Lexie Cone

Lexie Russom Cone of Finger, Tennessee was born September 7, 1920 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Mancel and Florence Campbell Russom. Mrs. Cone departed this life on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the home of her daughter, Virginia, in Memphis at the age of 91 Years, 5 Months, 13 Days.She was united in marriage to Newal Cone on December 6, 1939. Mr. Cone preceded her in death on September 18, 1990.Mrs. Cone was a longtime member of Maggie Jones United Methodist Church. She worked for 27 years at Salant and Salant Corporation in Henderson, Tennessee.She is survived by a daughter, Virginia Moore and husband Vernice of Bartlett, TN; a son, Max Wayne Cone and wife Carroll of Memphis, TN; six grandchildren, Ricky Moore and wife Nancy, Timmy Moore and wife Angela, Lisa Barker and husband Richard, Christie Adams, Denise Rasch, Darla Bisel; 9 Step Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 12 Great Great Grandchildren. A host of extended family and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs Cone was preceded in death by five brothers, Buford Russom, Everett Russom, Coy Russom, Windell Russom, Lindell Russom.
