Lewis L. Norris

Lewis L. "Butch" Norris, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Baptist Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
He retired from the United States Postal Service in 2001as a Statistical Programs manager. Mr. Norris served in the Marine Corps during Vietnam and received the purple heart. Also, he fought cancer for the past 6 years.
He leaves his wife of 21 years, Sharon; daughters, Melissa Paladino, and her husband, Dustin, and Ashley Norris and a granddaughter, Taylor, all of Irvine, Calif. He also leaves a stepdaughter, Kim Oswalt and three step grandchildren, Jacqualine, Kelsie and Kayla, all of Las Vegas, Nevada. Also surviving are two sisters, Nancy Hyde of Unionport, Ohio and Wanda Contes and her husband, Nick, of Steubenville, Ohio and a sister-in-law, Claudia Norris, the wife of his deceased brother, Bill, of Mingo Junction, Ohio.
In addition to his brother, Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his father, Lewis L. Norris, Sr., his mother, Wilda E. Clay and his stepfather, Ben Clay.
