Lewis Guinn

LEWIS GUINN



Was born in Chester County, Tennessee on January 24, 1909 the son of the late Dick Con “Bud” and Callie Hardin Guinn.



On September 2, 1944 he was united in marriage to the former Alice Curlin, who preceded her husband in death on December 10, 2004.



Mr. Guinn was a retired commercial fisherman and shoe salesman. He was a member of Eureka United Methodist Church. Mr. Guinn loved to garden.



He departed this life on July 28, 2006 at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 97 years, 6 months and 4 days.



Mr. Guinn is survived by 4 daughters, Martha Anne Casey of Henderson, Tennessee, Shirley Ingram, Reba Cossey and Dorothy Guinn, all of Savannah, Tennessee.



5 sons, Lewis Guinn, Jr. of Savannah, Tennessee, Jerry Guinn of Henderson, Tennessee, Danny Guinn of Fort Myers, Florida, Russell Guinn of Mountain View, Arkansas and Travis Guinn of Savannah, Tennessee.



His ex-wife, Mallie Guinn of Henderson, Tennessee.



30 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, plus ones from Mallie’s



Mr. Guinn was also preceded in death by 3 children, Franklin Guinn, Kathryn Phelps and Juanita Barnes, 2 sisters, Zora Wilkerson and Connie Lee Guinn, 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
