Lewelle Mae Rains passed away June 7, 2013 at the Savannah Health Care Center, Savannah, TN. Lewelle Mae was born February 14, 1918 to John Hobart and Lettie (Robison) Greer.She was a graduate of Michie High School, Michie, TN, class of 1935. She was married to Willard Rains on April 20, 1935. They were married for 66 years. Lewelle Mae is survived by 3 children: Scottie (Barbara) Rains of Portage, IN, Jon Wendell (Janet) Rains of Hobart, IN, and Sharon (Robert) Imes of LaPorte, IN. Also sruviving are 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren: Kim (Kevin) Ober, Caroline and Meredith of Fishers, IN; Susanna (Colin) Moriaty and Lennon of Athens, GA; Deborah Rains and Cameron Replin of Hobart, IN; Michael (Tennille) Rains, Lily, Nora, and Shepard of Portland, OR; Matthew (Karen) Imes, Shelby and Julianne of Portage, IN; Jason (Meredith) Imes and Emmalyn of Lubbock, TX; Shannon (Kevin) Freese, Rhyan and Joseph of St. Joseph, MO; Scott (Sara) Imes of Little Elm, TX; also, a special nephew, Eddie (Cathy) Rains of Savannah, TN and special cousins, Johnny and Debbie Greer of Michie, TN.Lewelle Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a daughter, Sodonia Jean.A graveside service will be held at the Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 12, 2013.The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Pisgah Cemetery Fund:Pisgah Cemetery Fundc/o Linda Austin585 Gladden RoadCounce, TN 38326
