Leslie H. Smith

Leslie H. Smith was born December 11, 1927 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late John Nash and Ella Tennessee Smith.He was united in marriage to Margie R. Adair on May 17, 1952. Mrs. Smith preceded him in death on May 16, 2008.Mr. Smith was the owner and operator of Smith Oil Company in Millington, Tennessee for over 30 years. He had served his country honorably in the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church in Guys, Tennessee. In his spare time, Mr. Smith enjoyed the outdoor life of hunting and fishing. Mr. Smith departed this life on November 21, 2010 in Cordova, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 11 Months, 10 Days. He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Robertson and husband Greg of Lakeland, TN; a grandchild, Lesley Beavers and husband Brent of Huntsville, AL; a great-grandchild, Ryan Beavers; a sister, Grace Gullette of Indiana; a brother, John Lee Smith and wife Louise of Oakland, TN; and many extended family and friends.
