Leslie Johnson
was born in Hamburg, Tennessee on August 7, 1924 the son of the late Edgar Allen and Bannie Maude Greer Johnson.
On November 15, 1947 he married Eunice Nell Riddell, who preceded him in death on April 20, 2007.
Mr. Johnson was a maintenance mechanic for Packaging Corp. of America. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1944 until 1946. He was a member of the Pisgah Methodist Church and a member of the men's adult class at Center Hill Church.
Mr. Johnson departed this life on February 3, 2008 at his residence at the age of 83 years, 5 months, 27 days.
He is survived by his 2 daughters: Nina White and her husband Gerald of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, Sue Roberts and her friend Greg of Counce, Tennessee; 1 son: Jerry Johnson and his wife Regina of Counce, Tennessee; 1 brother: Gordon Johnson and his wife Betty; 1 sister-in-law: Reubena Johnson; 8 grandchildren: Stacy Sweat, Misty Wamble, Brian Lambert, Nicky Roberts, Michael Roberts, Jason Roberts, Amanda Johnson, Nic Johnson; 8 great-grandchildren: Jesse Sweat, Chase Tarrant, Sophi Wamble, Hunter Roberts, Hannah Roberts, Ivy Roberts, Jayce Roberts, Owen Roberts.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a son: Steven Johnson; 1 brother: Wesley Johnson; 1 sister: Loraine Johnson.
