Leslie Carroll

Leslie Carroll was born in Hardin County, Tennessee the son of the late Charlie and Jennie Ellen Counce Carroll.He was united in marriage to the former Mary Bell Glover, who survives. Mr. Carroll worked for the Tennessee Forestry Service and retired after 22 years of service. He departed this life on March 2, 2007 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, and 8 days.Mr. Carroll is survived by his wife, Mary Bell Glover Carroll of Michie, Tennessee;four daughters: Brenda Carroll Ables and her husband, Rick, of Fayetteville, Tennessee, Sherry Carroll Rollins of Birmingham, Alabama,Melinda Carroll Hilterbrand of Pensacola, Florida and Lisa Carroll Tidwell and her husband, Steve, of Savannah, Tennessee; two sons: Owen Carroll of Michie, Tennessee and Don Carroll and his wife, Vickie, also of Michie, Tennessee;16 grandchildren: Jennifer Underwood, Eric Parrish, Zachary Parrish, Emily Grace Rollins, Sarah Rollins, Charlie Carroll, Brian Carroll, Katy Carroll,Allen Carroll, Nick Carroll, Josh Tidwell, Mathew Tidwell, Mason Tidwell,James Jackson, William Jackson and Sam Hilterbrand;5 great-grandchildren and three nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob Rollins and a sister, Frances Carroll Roberts.
