Leora Estelle Steadman

Leora Estelle Steadman was born January 5, 1924 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Emmitt and Ora Leonard Sweat.She was united in marriage to William Odell Steadman. Mr. Steadman preceded her in death on November 26, 1995.Mrs. Steadman retired from Western State Mental Institution as a nurse's aide. She was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church.Mrs. Steadman departed this life on January 15, 2012 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 10 Days. She is survived by nieces, Sue Teague of Ramer, TN, Linda Ray of Memphis, TN; nephews, Barry Locke and wife Anita of Ramer, TN, Wayne Locke and wife Judy of Ramer, TN; host of great nieces, great nephews and friends.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Steadman was preceded in death by a sister, Adelle Locke; niece, Darlene Cooksey; nephew, Johnny Locke.
