Leonard M. Hill was born July 20, 1926 in Bethel Springs, TN, the son of the late Samuel Clay and Margaret Mussette Harris Hill.
He was united in marriage to Lynne Fern Brooks on July 17, 1948. Mrs. Hill preceded him in death on October 4, 2009.
Mr. Hill was a retired fireman, farmer and logger. He was also associated with Beauty Hill Church.
He departed this life on May 29, 2013 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 10 Months, 9 Days.
Mr. Hill is survived by a daughter, Sheri L. Austin and husband John of Bethel Springs, TN; three sons, Kerry Doyle Hill and wife Patricia of Bethel Springs, TN, Rickey H. Hill and wife Joyce of Bethel Springs, TN, Joey D. Hill and wife Terrie of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Linda Kindle of Yorkville, TN; four brothers, Tom Hill and wife Faye of Adamsville, TN, John Hill of Adamsville, TN, Eldon Hill and wife Vanilla of Purdy, TN, James Hill and wife Ann of Fruitland Park, FL; thirteen grandchildren, Ricky L. Hill, Juli Hill Dunaway and husband Randy, Tim Hill, Tiffany Hill Riley, Kerry Leonard Hill and wife Amber, Ernesto Hill and wife Brenna, Cloudia Hill, Jeff Moore and wife Brandi, Stacy Moore, Lesley Austin, Malerie Austin, Lukas Austin and Nickolas Barclay; and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly G. Moore and a baby sister and two baby brothers.
