Mrs. Leona Kinchen Lucas, of Henderson died September 9, 2007 at Jackson General Hospital.

She was born in Chester County the daughter of the late James and Eller Kinchen on June 3, 1918. She married her husband of 69 years in 1938. She was a homemaker and a very devoted mother to ten children. She was a member of the Oak Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.



She is survived by daughters, Wanda Patterson(Faye), Linda Johnson (James), Brenda Plunk all of Henderson; sons, Gerald Lucas (Ann) of Chicago, Steve Lucas of Franklin Park, IL, Donald Lucas (Glenna), Paul Lucas (Mary Ann) James Lucas and Johnny Lucas (Teresa) all of Henderson; a sister, Clarice Green of Blytheville, AR; and a daughter -in-law, Diana Lucas of Mountain Home, AR; 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her husband R.B. Lucas, a son Robert (Sonny) Lucas and a grandson, Michael Lucas ; sisters, Bertha Green, Ruth Kinchen, and brothers, Arlie, Bob and Garl Kinchen.
